Footnotes
HAZEL MY CANDY bore in at the start, was checked near the seven-eighths pole, stalked the pace inside, angled to the four path at the quarter pole, rallied and won under a steady drive. BACKWARDS K saved ground, rallied in the three path near the three-eighths pole and gained the place late in the five path. GOODY TWO SOCKS vied inside before giving way at the eighth pole. SMALL TOWN ACCENT vied in the three path with no late bid. LUNA LLENA bore out at the start, was rank around the first turn and up the backstretch, stalked in the four path and lacked a late bid. CATRINA PARTNER vied in the two path between rivals and gave way on the far turn. WHO NOT WHAT was squeezed back at the start and saved ground to no avail. LO MACHAR was not a factor.
