EDDIE HASKELL dueled outside of a rival, bid at the eighth pole and drew off under steady urging. JR SWEET FEET saved ground, angled to the four path near the three-eighths pole, rallied belatedly but was no threat. PUT ME IN COACH was off awkwardly, stalked the pace inside and had no late bid. LADY BLAST dueled inside of the winner but couldn't last. EASTER SONATA stalked the pace in the four path with no late bid. ITALIAN WINE stalked the early pace inside before fading on the turn. MONTALBANO stumbled at the start, stalked the early pace inside and faded on the turn. INSTANT CLASSIC and NIGHT RAVEN were off awkwardly and were through early.
