Footnotes
PEIGNOIR dictated terms uncontested via a loose lead, remained in hand as an outer pursuer gave chase around the far turn, responded once set down in upper stretch and drew off under mild urging. AMBER CASCADE laid off of the pace three deep, took closer order with five furlongs to go, chased as the only remaining pursuer outside of the well-traveling leader around the far turn, proved no match and was second best. CATMINT stalked two wide, then between horses down the backstretch but faded approaching the far turn. READY FOR SHIRL tracked along the inside and faded around the far turn.
