INVICTUS stalked in the four path, chased the top pair from the three path while under urging around the turn, ran on to gradually close in on the clear leader in the five to six path into midstretch, flopped back to his left lead while forging an advantage at the sixteenth pole and drew clear. CAMP HALE led off of the rail early on, pressed an inner early bidder passing the five furlong pole, sustained pressure before issuing a bid at the five sixteenths pole, drove clear while driftng out to the four path in midstretch, but was bested by an outer challenger at the sixteenth pole. SHIP SHIP HOORAY broke a bit flat-footed before rushing forward inside of rivals approaching the eleven sixteenths pole, gained an advantage from an outer foe nearing the five furlong pole, led as that rival applied pressure around the bend, but was headed by him entering the lane and yielded. PLAYA DEL MAR tracked two wide and between horses, remained in the two path around the turn, shifted out five wide in upper stretch and ran on evenly. STEEZE broke a step slow, raced well back at the rear near the inside, paused momentarily behind foes turning for home, advanced three wide into the lane then rallied willingly but was denied a minor share. SERGEANT CAPPS pursued from the four to three path and failed to factor. SHEPHERD raced at the rear in the three to four path, fanned to the five path into the lane and failed to menace. MO WORK chased in the five to four path and faded. CALL SHADD broke a step slow, chased along the inside and weakened turning for home. SOCK IT TO ME pursued form the three to two path and weakened.
