BURNHAM SQUARE broke a step slow, bumped with an outer rival and was forced to brush an inner foe at the start, settled at the rear, circled foes five wide around the far turn, rallied in the six path in upper stretch, progressed to reel in the leader in the closing stages and got up at the wire. EAST AVENUE brushed an inner rival at the start, was hustled to the front approaching the first turn, remained clear before meeting an outer challenge leaving the three furlong pole, gamely clung to an advantage in upper stretch, repelled that challenger and shook free at the furlong grounds, flopped back to his left lead at the sixteenth pole and got nailed by an outer bidder at the wire. RIVER THAMES tracked in the three path, came under rousing while pursuing the top pair around the far turn, shifted out to the four to five path in upper stretch, rallied along with an outer foe in the final furlong but got outkicked and needed more. ADMIRAL DENNIS stuttered a step leaving the gate, laid off of the pace in the three to two path, shifted inwardly in upper stretch and moved up. RENDER JUDGMENT was brushed by an outer foe at the start, saved ground in midpack, chased while moving out to the three to four path in upper stretch and failed to menace between horses. OWEN ALMIGHTY bobbled slightly and was bumped between horses leaving the gate, ceded the front to an outer hustler into the turn, stalked that one from the two path, bid outside of him passing the three furlong pole, but was turned away in midstretch and faded between horses. CHANCER MCPATRICK pursued from midpack two wide, lacked a response to urging four wide and between horses around the far turn and failed to factor.
