TOMASELLO set the pace along the inside, led from a pair of outer challengers around the far turn, held firm before shaking clear entering the final furlong and edged away. VAN GINKEL tracked two to three wide, bid turning for home, vied in upper stretch but was turned away at the furlong grounds then held place. MERITORIOUS stalked along the inside, pursued from the pocket turning for home, chased into the lane, shifted outside of the top pair in midstretch, then ran on but was denied place. KICKING CLEAR was bumped by an outer rival at the start, saved ground off of the pace, chased in upper stretch and lacked a bid. EXCITE pressed two wide, bid along with an outer foe at the five sixteenths pole but gave way. BERMUDA TRIANGLE tracked in the two path, chased in the three path around the far turn, moved out to the five to six path in upper stretch, but drifted in and bumped FATEFUL LIGHTING leaving the three sixteenths pole and faded. NO MO MOOLAH raced well back in the two to three path, altered inwardly to avoid a fallen rider in midstretch, steadied while inside of the loose horse with a sixteenth to go and was protected thereafter. SPECIAL SESSION bumped an inner rival leaving the gate, got rank and bumped with an outer foe shortly after, raced at the rear in the three to four path around the first turn, shifted to avoid the fallen rider in midstretch and made little impact. COURAGEOUS CLAY bumped with an inner rival soon after the start, rated well back along the inside, took closer order two wide and between horses with nine sixteenths to go, but failed to sustain a bid and made little impact. KICK IT IN raced off of the pace three wide and faded around the far turn. TRIGGER POINT got rank between rivals soon after the start, raced off of the pace two wide and between horses, but failed to respond to heavy urging approaching the half mile pole and weakened. FATEFUL LIGHTNING pursued from midpack in the three path, chased in the four path into upper stretch, but was bumped by an outer rival and dislodged his rider approaching midstretch, then walked off.
