IRISH ACES set the pace along the inside, remained in hand around the far turn, then held from a pair late. OUT OF DEDUCTIONS tracked along the inside, saved ground around the turns, shifted out three wide in midstretch and rallied to reach place via a dead heat. SMOKEY MANDATE stalked while tucking tot he inside around the first turn, tipped two wide to take aim outside of the well-traveling leader entering the lane, sustained a bid but was fended off through the final furlong and got nailed by an outer bidder to share place. PIPER'S FACTOR pursued from midpack two to three wide, fanned five wide into the lane and ran on. YAMATO laid off of the pace in the two to three path, pursued moving out from the four path to the six path in upper stretch, bumped with an inner rival leaving the three sixteenths pole, yet stayed on to edge fifth late. NOTED laid off of the pace near the inside, moved up inside of rivals in upper stretch, vied for a minor placing but got outfinished late. WEST HOLLYWOOD pursued along the inside, moved two wide and between horses nearing the backstretch, shifted out to the five path in upper stretch, but got bumped between rivals leaving upper stretch and lacked a bid. TALL BOY dropped back soon after the start, trailed along the inside, swung out to the seven path into the lane and improved position. ELDEST SON stalked outside of the leader and from the three to two path, chased between rivals around the far turn, then gave way three wide into upper stretch. TIMEOUT laid well back along the inside and made little impact. WONDERFUL JUSTICE (GB) tracked four to three wide around the first turn, floated four wide into the lane, faded between horses, bumped with an outer foe leaving the three sixteenths pole, steadied into midstretch and faded. LINCOLN HIGHWAY broke a step slow, lacked speed in the two to three path and got outrun.
