Footnotes
SHANGRALA ROAD set the pace along the inside, dug in while meeting an inner challenge in upper stretch and held firm. CHILLAX tracked near the inside, slipped through to issue a rail bid in upper stretch, sparred in the final furlong but was fended off. FOUNTAIN LAKE laid well back in the four path, rallied swiftly to circle foes in the five path around the far turn, gained show entering the lane, chased the top pair home and was best of the rest. PITKIN bobbled slightly while still breaking in midpack, laid off of the pace along the inside, chased before picking up stride inside of foes passing the quarter pole, fanned out to the five path into the lane and stayed on. INTERCEPTOR raced at the rear in the three path, improved before pursuing between rivals with a half mile to go, steadied along the inside leaving the five sixteenths pole, yet shifted out while gaining stride in midstretch and ran on between horses. LAST MAN STANDING brushed with an outer rival leaving the gate before checking back soon after the start, raced at the rear in the two path, rallied five deep and outside of foes around the far turn, entered the lane in the six path and leveled off. DEVELOPMENT FEE stalked three deep, pursued within striking range around the far turn, got outkicked by an outer rival entering the lane and gave way. MIDNIGHT VENGEANCE stalked along the inside, then from the two path within range around the far turn, but failed to sustain position in upper stretch and faded. ABBI FEDE brushed with an inner rival leaving the gate, lacked speed in the two path, moved out to the four path into the lane and made little impact. KEEN TALENT laid off of the pace in the four path, chased around the far turn and faded. ACTIVITY pressed two wide and between horses but weakened into the far turn. FETE pursued from midpack in the three path and between horses, then weakened turning for home.
