SKATE AWAY set the pace along the inside, met challenges from a pair of outer rivals around the far turn, shook clear entering the lane, moved out to the three to four path in upper stretch then held from a late outer bidder. LION OF JUSTICE tracked along teh inside, then in the two path down the backstretch, came under urging while pursuing turning for home, swung out to the five path entering the lane, rallied to issue a late bid outside of the leader but came up short. VALENTINIAN laid off of the pace two wide, then between horses into the backstretch, was called upon in the three path and between horses around the far turn, crept closer while fanning to the six path entering the lane, stayed on before flopping to and from his left lead while diving inside of the top pair at the sixteenth pole, then sustained progress but needed more. LURED AWAY broke a step slow, trailed in the two path, improved position in the five path around the far turn, shifted back inwardly entering the lane and stayed on. CUT THE DUST pressed two wide, bid along with an outer rival around the far turn but gave way entering the lane. ASHLEY'S ARCHER got keyed up while tugging in midpack in the three to four path around the first turn, pulled to advance four wide with nine sixteenths to go, bid three deep around the far turn but faded between horses entering the lane. SPECIAL CALIBER laid off of the pace along the inside, then two wide and between horse with nine sixteenths to go and failed to factor. KINETIC CONTROL broke a step slow, saved ground off of the pace but to no avail. HEDGE stalked three wide, then between horses down the backstretch and faded in the four path around the far turn.
