OVERCOME ADVERSITY broke a step slow and brushed with an outer rival at the start, tracked near the inside, moved out to he four path entering the lane, rallied to bid outside of the new leader in midstretch, gained an advantage at the furlong marker and drew clear. DEFIANT LASS brushed with an inner foe leaving the gate, pursued from midpack in the two path, shifted out to the five path to advance between horses entering the lane, then ran on to claim place at the sixteenth pole. SNOWYTE stalked outside of the leader and from the three path, applied pressure into the turn before bidding at the five sixteenths pole, gained an advantage in upper stretch, but was caught by an outer bidder at the furlong grounds and yielded. MEURSAULT brushed with an inner foe at the start, lacked speed in the three path, improved position before shifting to the five path in upper stretch and moved up. SURPRISE raced off of the pace in the two path and pursued one paced through the lane. GIRLS ROCK showed the way along the inside, got headed by an outer bidder in upper stretch and faded while hanging on her left lead. ROJA tracked two wide early on, shifted out to chase in the four path around the turn, then got floated to the six path into the lane and faded. PLAY WITH MAGIC brushed with an outer rival leaving the gate, raced off of the pace along the inside and never got involved. CHANDON was slow into stride, trailed in the three path and got outrun.
