CAPE TRAFALGAR set the pace inside of a prompting rival around the turn, dueled with that one turning for home, shook free at the furlong grounds and held sway. TAGLIATELLE bumped the gate and was off awkwardly, trailed in the two to four path before fanning out to the six path into the lane, rallied widest to gain place in the late stages and narrowed the gap on the clear leader. SHAPE NOTE brushed with rivals on both sides at the start, pressed outside of the leader while tucking down to the three path approaching teh turn, sparked a duel with five sixteenths to go, sparred through upper stretch but was yielded at the furlong grounds, then lasted for show. REGAL REY brushed with an inner rival at the start, raced off of the pace in the four path, advanced around the turn, chased in the four to five path into the lane, got outkicked by an outer rival in midstretch, moved inwardly in the final furlong and stayed on between foes. REFUAH stalked in the five to four path into the turn, pursued within striking range turning for home, but chased the top pair into the lane and gave way between horses. WILLTORUN raced off of the pace along the inside, then two wide around the turn and failed to factor along the inside. MR BOB brushed with an outer foe at the start, pursued from the three path and between horses, entered the lane in the five path before shifting back three wide in midstretch, and chased evenly. PURE PANIC broke a step slow, tracked two wide and between horses, chased near the inside around teh turn and gave way between foes. CRITICAL THREAT chased forwardly along the inside, checked into the turn and faded thereafter.
