SURF CITY saved ground well back, closed in on the gain ground in three path in upper stretch, tipped inwardly passing the three sixteenths pole, slipped through to issue a rail bid leaving the furlong grounds, dueled with a pair of outer rivals in the final sixteenth and narrowly prevailed. DEVIL IN DISGUISE laid off of the pace along the inside, launched progress while moving out entering the lane, floated to the six to seven path in upper stretch, rallied to bid along with inner rivals at the furlong grounds, sparred with an inner pair through the late stages but just missed. CREDITWORTHY leaned out and brushed a foe at the start, tracked from the two path, awaited racing room along the inside entering the lane, continued to encounter traffic before tipping to the four path leaving upper stretch, bid among foes at the furlong grounds, dueled between a pair of rivals through the final sixteenth but missed. MOON SNIPER tracked from midpack along the inside, moved out to the five to six path and between horses in upper stretch, ranged up to issue a bid while in tight quarters among foes at the furlong grounds, but got outkicked between rivals and chased the leading trio home. MONSIEUR CANDY pursued from midpack in the three path, floated out to the seven to eight path in upper stretch and sustained pursuit one paced. LET'S GO MARK bumped with an inner foe at the start, prompted the leader from the three path, led briefly in upper stretch, but got outkicked between horses in the final furlong and faded. UNCLE WILLIAM broke a step slow, trailed along the inside, shifted to the six path in upper stretch before moving wider at the furlong grounds, and failed to menace. JOHNNY COME LATELY raced off of the pace early on, steadied slightly while tugging at the eleven sixteenths pole, pursued from the three path around the turn and made little impact. ALEXIS ZORBA (GB) stalked three wide, but faltered in cramped quarters between horses in the five path at the furlong grounds. SEND CASH was bumped on both sides at the start, set the pace near the inside, got headed while dueling with an outer rival in upper stretch then caved between foes leaving the furlong grounds.
