Footnotes
TOUGH CRITIC broke a step slow then brushed with an inner rival at the start, settled well back along the inside, launched an advance while moving out entering the lane, tipped to the seven path in upper stretch, lengthened stride and rallied to reel in the tiring leader in the final fifty yards. LONGSHOREMAN was bumped by an inner rival leaving the gate, vied two wide into and around the turn, drew clear reaching the lane, opened up a large advantage in upper stretch, but began to tire in the final furlong and was caught by an outer on-charging bidder in the closing stages. TIEMPOS BUENOS stalked along the inside, split foes two wide in upper stretch to gain place at the furlong grounds, but got outkicked by an outer rival shortly after and kept on. BARSTOOL broke outwardly, pressed outside of the top pair, failed to keep pace with the leader entering the lane, vied for place in upper stretch before getting outkicked by an inner rival nearing the furlong grounds, got surpassed by an outer rival while flopping back to his left lead leaving that station and gave way. COACH RUDY laid off of the pace along the inside, shifted to the three path entering the lane and moved up. RED LAD vied for the lead with an outer rival into and around the turn, but proved no match for that one entering the lane and weakened. DAPHNE BLUE was floated outwardly by an inner rival at the start, tracked outside of rivals before tucking four wide into the turn, but drifted back to the six path in upper stretch and faded. FLAMING STAR leaned outwardly and bumped a foe at the start, lagged well behind around the turn, then rejoined the rest and surpassed a pair of weakening foes late. ABDICATE chased forwardly two wide and between horses, but steadily faded after a quarter mile. RISK broke a step slow and brushed with an outer foe at the start, raced off of the pace in the four to six path and tired while hanging on his left lead.
