STEADFAST RESOLVE settled well back in the three to two path, saved ground around the second turn, moved out while picking up stride around the final bend, fanned to the seven path entering the lane and rallied to miss place at the wire. OSCARGOT vied along the inside, yielded around the final turn, yet kept on to offer a rebid in midstretch, reclaimed place in the final furlong but gave way to outer rivals late. THE DOVER SPECTER pursued from midpack three to two wide, chased in the four path in upper stretch and stayed on one paced among foes. HAMILTON'S WAY saved ground in midpack, moved to the three path in upper stretch and ran on mildly between rivals late. FORT THOMAS laid off of the pace in the two path, then in the three path around the final turn before moving to the five path in upper stretch, but lacked a bid between horses.
