ROSWELL set the pace along the inside as an outer rival applied firm pressure, clung to an advantage from a pair of bidders at the quarter pole, dug in and battled with TAKE CHARGE OMAHA whiie moving out to the three to four path in upper stretch, dueled gamely and repelled that rival late. TAKE CHARGE OMAHA brushed with an inner foe at the start, stalked from the three path and between horses, bid outside of the top pair turning for home, dueled outside of the eventual winner while being floated to the four to five path in upper stretch, battled through the final furlong but was turned away late. IN JUST MY HEELS took out of tight quarters between horses soon after the start, trailed in the three path, improved in the three to four path rounding the far turn then rallied belatedly to close in on the top pair late. QUEEN AZTECA brushed with an outer foe at the start, prompted outside of the eventual winner, vied between horses turning for home then yielded in upper stretch. AUTUMN EVENING tracked from the two path then lacked a bid. DEVASSA (BRZ) pursued off of the pace in the two path and failed to factor. FLOATING BEAUTY tracked from the four path but was done early then eased through the lane.
