Footnotes
AUTHENTIC STRIKE set the pace in the two path as an outer rival applied pressure, cleared when that one faltered approaching the far turn, bumped his margin when let out around that turn, felt a right handed crop while bearing out to the six path nearing the lane, straightened and widened under mild urging before being put to wraps with a sixteenth to go. LOOK TO THE CROSS bumped an inner rival at the start and was off a beat slow, trailed along the inside, picked up stride swinging four wide turning for home, moved inwardly entering the lane and sustained advance to edge place from an outer rival at the sixteenth pole. JACK'S TIME stalked in the three to four path, chased in the three path around the far turn to gain place passing the quarter pole, but failed to close in on the widening leader in the five path in upper stretch and lost place to an inner bidder with a sixteenth to go. RIGHTEOUS STAR laid off of the pace in the two to three path, retreated to trail in the four path around the far turn, then moved up. ROBERT'S MOON broke a step slow, lacked speed along the inside, pursued behind foes turning for home, split rivals two wide into the lane but failed to menace. GLOBAL LEGEND was bumped by an outer rival at the start, tracked along the inside, gained place from outer rivals entering the far turn, but was no match for the leader while chasing turning for home, then lost place to an outer bidder while starting to ease at the quarter pole. THRILLA pressed outside of the eventual winner and from the three path, but failed to sustain pressure with seven sixteenths to go, weakened between horses around the far turn and was eased through the lane.
