Footnotes
NO PARDON settled off of the pace in the three to four path early on, steadied subtly behind foes entering the backstretch, tucked two wide and between horses into the far turn, launched a rally shifting out to the three to four path at the quarter pole, rallied to bid outside of the leader in the final furlong, forged an advantage at the sixteenth pole and inched ahead. CAT PAYS THE TOLL laid close up along the inside, stalked the top pair down the backstretch, tipped three wide to take aim outside of them turning for home, bid entering the lane, led and held sway through midstretch, but was collared by an outer bidder coming to the final sixteenth and was bested. CRUZ CHICA brushed an outer rival at the start, prompted outside of the leader and from the three to four path around the first turn, gain an advantage tucking to the two path entering the far turn, led until getting headed by an outer challenger entering the lane, then held show thereafter. GREENWICH PIKE set the pace in the two path before tucking to the inside as an outer rival prompted into the backstretch, got headed by that one into the far turn, took an awkward stride coming to the quarter pole, gave way in the aftermath, yet recovered to manage fourth through the lane. KIM POSSIBLE took light contact from an inner rival at the start, tracked in the two to three path, moved between horses entering the backstretch, chased while getting floated out to the five path turning for home and lacked a bid. CURLS NITE OUT lacked speed along the inside and made little impact. KUKU tracked in the four to five path and outside of rivals, but weakened around the far turn and was eased through the lane.
