Footnotes
GILDED CRAKEN set the pace inside of a sternly pressing foe into the backstretch, led narrowly through quick fractions, shook free nearing the five sixteenths pole, drew clear and lasted safely from an outer closing-in bidder late. APOLLO RISING tracked from midpack along the inside, pursued in the three path around the far turn, ran on to reach place in midstretch, sustained gradual progress on the clear leader late but ran out of ground. UNSTABLE PRINCE pursued from midpack in the two path, chased in the four path around the far turn, stayed on while delaying a lead change until leaving the furlong grounds and edged show. MINISTERIAL prompted three to two wide around the first turn, sustained strong pressure outside of the leader while pulling clear of the rest through fast fractions down the backstretch, but yielded in the three path turning for home and gave way. CURLIN'S GESTURE prompted between the top pair into the first turn before backing off to stalk along the inside around that bend, chased them into the far turn and faded. OVERSTATEMENT broke a beat slow, lacked speed in the two to three path and made little impact. ATLANTIC DANCER was pinched back soon after the start, trailed in the three path and got outrun. AZOI was fractious in the starting gate, lacked speed along the inside and was done early.
