BOURBON BOSS showed the way along the inside, shook free in upper stretch, dug in to resist an outer challenge passing the sixteenth pole and held firm. ROCKY JOY tracked three wide, rallied to slowly close in on the clear leader in the final furlong, ranged up to bid entering the final sixteenth but was staved off through the late stages. OVER THE OCEAN stalked outside of the eventual winner, chased that one from between horses after failing to sustain pressure in upper stretch, got outkicked for place by his outer counterpart at the furlong grounds and held show. SWEET FREEDOM leaned into an outer rival at the start, tracked along the inside, scraped the inner rail in upper stretch, chased willingly to vie for show an outer rival through the final furlong, but missed that position. PARIS SURPRISE was bumped between horses at the start, settled well back two wide, spun five to six wide while between horses into the lane and ran on willingly. DEMETRIUS brushed an inner rival at the start, lacked speed three wide, then pursued mildly between horses. INITIALIZE bumped with an inner rival while getting brushed by an outer foe at the start, saved ground while pursuing from midpack, was blocked behind traffic in upper stretch, split foes two wide into midstretch but failed to threaten. RESEARCH RESULTS was bumped by an inner rival leaving the gate, took back from between horses early on, steadied behind rivals nearing the first turn, settled off of the pace along the inside, awaited racing room while saving ground around the far turn, continued to encounter traffic in the five path behind rivals at the three sixteenths pole, then moved up. PUBLICITY bumped an outer rival at the start, laid off of the pace two wide, then between horses around the far turn, was blocked and stymied behind foes into the final furlong and made little impact. CALLER bumped an inner rival at the start, pursued from midpack in the three path, chased in upper stretch and weakened between horses. GOLDEN SYMPHONY was bumped between rivals and pinched back at the start, trailed along the inside, then in the three to four path around the far turn before fanning to the six to seven path into the lane, but made little impact. JUNGLE LAW broke out and bumped a foe at the start, got rank between rivals nearing the first turn before settling into tracking stride two wide and among foes around that turn, but chased while tucking behind rivals into the lane and weakened.
