WOODCOURT set the pace in the two path, was set down leading into the lane and held sway from bidders on either side. SOCIETY MAN took light contact from an outer foe at the start, saved ground rating off of the pace, advanced inside of rivals entering the lane, sustained progress to bid inside of the leader in teh final furlong, but was turned away and saved place at the wire. STRETCH RIDE stalked along the inside, came under urging pursuing from the two path around the far turn, tipped to the three path to take aim outside of the leader entering the lane, but was kept at bay through the final furlong and missed place. VITALITY pursued from midpack in the three to four path, crept closer before tracking around the far turn, floated to the five path chasing into the lane, vied for fourth with an inner foe into the final furlong and prevailed. PAPPY'S REVENGE tracked two wide, then between horses approaching and around the far turn, shifted out to the four path leaving the three sixteenths pole, vied for fourth with an outer rival through midstretch but was outfinished. STAR OF WONDER broke half a beat slow and brushed an inner rival at the start, checked while behind and among rivals early on, trailed along the inside under snug restraint around the first turn, took the far turn in the two path, pursued in the four to five path in upper stretch and lacked a rally. SNEAD raced at the rear in the three to four path and failed to factor. ZATARA pressed the leader from the three path, chased between horses around the far turn, then weakened getting floated to the four path into the lane. CAROLO RAPIDO laid off of the pace in the two to three path, was roused to gain in the five path turning for home, fanned to the six path entering the lane, but weakened and was eased up late.
