Footnotes
LORD OF MISCHIEF showed the way in the two path, led from a pair of outer challengers at the five sixteenths pole, maintained a margin under confident handling shifting out to the three path in upper stretch, was set down leaving the three sixteenths pole, responded readily leaving the furlong grounds and drove clear. MAJOR MACK stalked along the inside, took aim up a vacated rail in upper stretch, bid inside of the leader coming to the furlong grounds, but was turned away shortly after and held place. J J'S RANGER pressed the leader from the three path, bid along with an outer rival at the five sixteenths pole, drifted out to the four path between horses into the lane, failed to sustain pressure coming to midstretch, yet kept on between rivals and held show. KISTLER hopped at the start while breaking in midpack, tracked two wide into the turn, turned for home in the three path, shfited out from the four path to the five path to take aim outside of the leading trio in upper stretch, but only managed an even kick and missed show. NIGHTNTHEQUARTER hopped at the start and broke multiple lengths slow, pursued from off of the pace in the three path, swung out to the eight path in upper stretch and failed to factor. ROPE A DOPE stalked outside of the top pair and from the four path, bid three deep turning for home, but got floated to the five path into the lane, then to the six path in upper stretch and weakened. SHAKO leaned in and brushed the gate at the start, saved ground at the rear and got outrun.
