Footnotes
NATIVE SHAMAN brushed with an inner rival at the start, tracked along the inside, loomed a danger shifting out to the four path into the lane, bid outside of the leader coming to the three sixteenths pole and kicked clear with good energy. TOUGH LITTLE NUT was brushed by an inner rival at the start, settled well back two wide, gained five to four wide and outside of rivals around the far turn, brushed with an inner rival entering the lane in the six path, yet sustained a rally to gain place with a sixteenth to go. MY BOY TONY brushed with an outer foe leaving the gate, laid off of the pace along the inside, saved ground before brushing an outer rival while shifting to the four path into the lane, stayed on five wide and among foes into the final furlong and edged show leaving the sixteenth pole. PROTECTIVE trailed along the inside early on, improved in the five path around the far turn before swinging to the eight path in upper stretch, and moved up belatedly. TELESCOPIC tracked two wide, advanced three wide passing the five furlong pole, pressed two wide into the far turn, offered a mild bid outside of the leader turning for home, failed to sustain pressure entering upper stretch in the three path, got outkicked by an outer bidder at the three sixteenths pole and gave way. FIRST PLAYER drifted out to the five path while off of the pace into the first turn, settled tucking back tot he four path around that bend, spun for home in the five path before shifting inwardly in upper stretch, then failed to threaten between horses. BLACK IRON stalked along the inside, chased in the two path leaving the three sixteenths pole, but lacked a rally between horses and yielded. TIFAREEH leaned into an outer rival at the start, pursued from midpack three deep, but gave way between horses turning for home. THE GINGER WIZARD (IRE) pursued from midpack two wide and between horses, then further back around the far turn before tucking to the inside into the lane, and failed to factor. VESTURE set a clear pace along the inside into the backstretch, felt mild outer pressure from a rival turning for home, held sway into upper stretch, but offered little resistance to an outer challenge at the three sixteenths pole and weakened. CULPRIT stalked two wide, yielded position between rivals with nine sixteenths to go, chased three wide around the far turn, got brushed by an inner rival into an outer foe into entering the lane and weakened. COPPER MISSILE got floated out to the six path entering the first turn, tucked and settled off of the pace three wide and between horses around that bend, but came under a drive with nine sixteenths to go, failed to respond and tired.
