After payment of 1.25% to each owner of horses finishing sixth through last, 62% of the remaining association purse will be paid to the owner of the winner, 20% to second, 10% to third, 5% to fourt h, 3% to fifth. KTDF funds correspondingly divided providing a KTDF eligible horse finishes in an award position. Weight 122 lbs. Non-winners of a graded sweepstakes allowed 2 lbs.; a sweepstakes, 4 lbs. The maximum number of starters for the Bowman Millw ill be limited to twelve. In the event that more than twelve horses pass the entry box, the twelve starters will be determined at that time by horses that have finished first, second or third in a graded or group stakes, non-restricted stakes winners thee n condition preference . LONG NECK PAULA stalked the clear leader from the three path, chased that one in upper stretch, slowly closed in as that one began to tire entering the final furlong, forged an advantage at the sixteenth pole and held from a late outer challenger. TOUGH CATCH bumped with an outer rival at the start, tracked along the inside, chased into the lane, altered course outside of the top pair at the furlong grounds, ran on to offer a late bid outside of the new leader approaching the wire, but needed more. TERRAPIN STATION bumped with an inner foe leaving the gate, pursued from off of the pace in the three path, lacked progress hanging on his left lead in upper stretch, changed over as an inner rival shifted across his path at the furlong grounds, then stayed on evenly and caught a faltering foe for show at the wire. MACHO MUSIC bumped with an outer foe at the start, showed the way in the two path, built a clear advantage approaching the turn, but hung on his left lead through the lane, got collared by an outer bidder while jumping the shadow casted by the sixteenth pole, yielded when his rider eased up following the incident, came under mild urging as an outer foe bid for show late, but was nailed for that position. POLITICALLYCORRECT traded contact with an inner rival at the start, trailed in the four path and got outrun.
