MISTER DENNIS away well then was allowed to settle at the back of the pack but no more than four or five lengths from the front, started to run on racing three wide while approaching the quarter pole, continued to run on in the three path down the stretch racing on the left lead, collard the leader near the sixteenth pole and won a length clear in the end. FLINT ROCK got bumped into by BLONDATE on the rebound, was forwardly placed going into the turn, lost a little ground early on the turn then came back, bid four wide into the stretch and finished up well to gain second. TRIPS TO WIN broke well then moved up in the early running to duel to the outside of BLONDATE through the turn, gained the advantage in mid-stretch but could not hold off a fast closing pair of rivals on the outside in the final yards. BLONDATE got pinballed a few strides out of the gate, but quickly moved forward, briefly dueled with eventually dueling inside of SERRANO'S WARRIOR then TRIPS TO WIN when the first named dropped out, gave way approaching mid-stretch and was not a factor in the late stages. SERRANO'S WARRIOR had good speed from the break made the front, briefly dueled with BLONDATE in the initial stages then started to weaken passing the half-mile pole, and had little to offer in the stretch. QUIKONTHETRIGGER veered in a little after the start and made light contact with BLONDATE, had to check slightly near the seven-sixteenth pole, dropped to last and was unable to improve in the late stages. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
