IMAGOLDENSONG broke in at the start, hard sent to be forwardly placed early on, stalked the leading pair three wide into the turn, loomed at the quarter pole then took command to upper stretch, led to the furlong marker then the bid of CALL SADIE at the sixteenth-marker, drifted out in deep stretch, dug in and denied IMAGOLDENSONG in the final yards and held well for the win. CALL SADIE squeezed at the start then last away from the gate, settled to the turn, advanced outside of rivals approaching the quarter marker, roused four wide to upper stretch, rallied to the furlong grounds then vied for the lead outside of IMAGOLDENSONG heading to the final sixteenth, got crowded a bit when IMAGOLDENSONG drifted out in deep stretch, was denied for the win in the final yards. ARMY NURSE away in good order, showed good early speed and set the pace along the backstretch, carved out a decent pace from the inside heading into the turn, overtaken into upper stretch, yielded to the top pair in the lane, held late for third. MICHELINE GAIL broke out at the start, settled and saved ground in the early stages, checked while getting out a bit entering the turn, kept an inside path along the bend, chased into upper stretch, shifted to the two path inside of the furlong grounds, lacked a final response and missed for third. TWENTY FOUR GRAND showed speed away from the start and disputed the early pace outside of ARMY NURSE, pressed the decent pace two wide to the quarter marker, lost ground to upper stretch, gave way in the drive.
