Footnotes
WICKEDLY ROYAL tracked the pace leaving the start, went up between rivals and vied for the lead heading into the turn, disputed the pace into the bend, took command nearing the quarter marker and kicked clear into the stretch, held sway while clear into the final furlong, kept to task in the final sixteenth and held safely over the oncoming runner-up. MEMORY MAKER settled off of the contested early pace while never far back, saved ground into the turn, tipped out and roused two wide to upper stretch, was gaining on the winner in the final sixteenth but could not reel in WICKEDLY ROYAL and was a clear second best. NORMA JEAN BLING hustled away from the gate, went up to dispute the early pace from the inside, dueled for pace duties along the rail heading into the turn, outkicked to upper stretch, chased WICKEDLY ROYAL into the lane, was no match late for the top pair but held clearly in the end for third. SPARKLY away in good order, raced close up early on, disputed the pace from outside of rivals along the backstretch, pressed three wide into the turn, lost ground to upper stretch, ran in pursuit to the furlong grounds, gave way in the stretch drive. EASY SEVEN broke out at the start and a step slow leaving the gate, settled off of the early pace, went up to track four wide into the turn, well placed to the quarter marker, asked four wide to upper stretch, chased while on the left lead into the lane, could not muster the needed response, weakened. KINSLEY GRACE vied for the early lead from between rivals, lost position on the run to the turn, trailed midway through the bend, was eased through the stretch and walked off.
