STEPHANIE STARFISH broke a step slowly and settled to the first turn, tracked the leaders from the second flight into the backstretch, bid three wide into the far turn, vied for the lead nearing the quarter marker then took command, dug in to mid-stretch, met the bid of KATERINI into the final sixteenth, denied the runner-up in deep stretch and held well late for the win. KATERINI close up in the early running, pressed the pace from the inside heading into the backstretch, stalked from the inside heading into the far turn then angled out for the stretch drive, rallied to the furlong grounds, drew to even terms with STEPHANIE STARFISH in deep stretch, was denied for the win and was well clear of the rest for second. QUEEN BERKELEY bobbled at the start and off a step slowly, settled to the first turn then raced widest along the backstretch, gave chase three to four wide into the far turn, could not impact the top two into the stretch, made a mild late bid and was well clear of the rest for third. CHAPELLETE lunged at the start and off slowly, unhurried early on and trailed to the half-mile, saved ground to the stretch, could not impact the leaders into the lane and passed tiring rivals late. MOENCHANTED broke alertly and sent for the early lead, set the pace two wide along the backstretch, carved out a decent pace to the half-mile, confronted by STEPHANIE STARFISH into the far turn, battled to the quarter marker, could not keep pace into the stretch, gave way. PAPIRINGA away in good order, was close up to the early pace while three wide to the first turn, stalked the decent pace to the half-mile, lost ground into the far turn, trailed to upper stretch, empty in the drive.
