FAST VERDICT settled behind the pacesetters down the backstretch, then rallied on cue leaving the half, pulled even with SWIFT N TRAFFIC at the quarter pole, met little resistance, and finished well under steady handling to prevail. SWIFT N TRAFFIC broke well, then pressed CALIBRACHOA KID through the initial stages, took over the lead at the half-mile pole, led into the stretch, but was quickly overtaken by FAST VERDICT in upper stretch, but kept on well to save the place. Z'S GUITAR slow early to be well off the leaders at the rear of the field, commenced a steady, long drive on the turn, and finished with a late gain to be up for the show. CALIBRACHOA KID was hustled from the gate and gained the early advantage, was overtaken by SWIFT N TRAFFIC passing the half, unable to go on with that one went into a drive, finished evenly but was unable to menace. INFINITESIMAL was roused from the break then pressed the pace close up to the inside, got an inside run through the turn, loomed a threat turning for home but flattened out in the stretch.
