WIND OF CHANGE (BRZ) broke in and bothered CALL ME MIDNIGHT at the start, was close to the early pace battle then backed out of the potential duel, kept to the inside in a stalking position through the turn then swung three wide into the stretch, finished well, overtook ALL IN SYNC with a furlong to run and won clear in the end. ALL IN SYNC was under hard urging from the start, hustled up to bid for the lead near the half-mile pole, took command leaving the five-sixteenths, had a short lead at the top of the stretch but found the winner too much and had to settle for second, well clear of the rest. CALL ME MIDNIGHT was bothered by WIND OF CHANGE (BRZ) at the start, settled behind the leading group, then launched a bid from the three furlong pole, bid four wide into the stretch and finished with some interest but could not get to the top pair. BLESSED VISION veered out at the start into CHUPAPI MUNYAYO, settled four wide at the rear of the sextet but not far from the front end, chased four wide into the stretch and was unable to threaten but passed a couple of foes late to improve. CHUPAPI MUNYAYO was forced outward at the start then rushed up to join PESO IN MY POCKET to duel into the turn, was joined by ALL IN SYNC at the three furlong pole, vied between horses into the stretch and weakened in the final furlong. PESO IN MY POCKET broke well, made the front, dueled with CHUPAPI MUNYAYO to the quarter pole then gave way in upper stretch.
