Footnotes
MUFFIN NUTS reserved off the pace to be at the rear of the main body of the field for the first half, made a steady advance on the turn to striking distance, rallied five wide in upper stretch to engage the leaders, was brushed by CREEKSIDE in mid-stretch when that one was forsced out and finished willingly to draw clear at the sixteenth pole. TONTERIA crowded at the start when the outside rival ducked in severely leaving the gate, dropped back to be the distant trailer down the backside, commenced a bid midway on the turn, rallied strongly in the lane splitting rivals and was gaining late in the drive. RANCH WATER tracked the leaders to the far turn, rallied to contention on the outside and was outkicked in the lane. BIG SCULLY set the pace on a clear lead through the first turn, was challenged by a duo at the half mile pole while racing from the rail briefly losing the lead, re-gained the advantage into the turn, dueled to mid-stretch, ducked out at the eighth pole under left handed urging to bump CREEKSIDE casuing that one to brush the winner and steady, and weakened when straighthened away. CREEKSIDE pressed the pace from between rivals down the backstretch, continued to battle the pacesetter turning for home, steadied midway down the lane when crowded and bumped by that one and finished evenly from there. ALL TOGETHER broke inward impeding TORTERIA leaving the gate, straightened away to stalk the pace on the first turn, rushed up to engage the leaders four wide down the backstretch and gave way on the far turn. THE RACE WAS HAND TIMED DUE TO EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION.
