Footnotes
THE HIT KING ROSE broke in, set a pressured pace to the second turn, drew off for a clear lead and held safely while kept to task. MAX S broke in, pressed the pace between horses, dropped back on the second turn, continued willingly, couldn't gain and finished second best. CRUE'S N CONTROL broke out, raced close to the pace towards the outside, dropped in in the upper stretch and closed well to earn show. ROYAL IRISH veered out at the start, pressed the pace three wide between horses to the second turn, leveled off and faded. KYE saved ground, was steadied on the first turn, bid along the rail on the second turn to get within range and came up empty. CASTLE GAP was pushed out at the start, pressed the pace four to five wide to the second turn, tired and gave way.
