SALT SPRAY (IRE) broke on top and went stragiht to the lead, cleared off early then had PAYNTED BLUE in close pursuit to the outside, finished up well under strong handling, briefly surrendered the lead ot MAX IS G MONEY but dug in and won the nod at the finish line. MAX IS G MONEY was not asked for speed from the start and tracked four wide into the turn, separated from the tracking group midway on the turn, took an inside path into the stretch, finished up well, briefly got a head in front but lost the bob at the wire. PAYNTED BLUE broke well then was sent to press SALT SPRAY (IRE) through the early fractions, had aim on that one in upper stretch but was unable to get by with a big gap to the next finisher. HOWARD'S GRIT broke in at the start and cut off COME ON COME ON, raced at the head of the tracking group, saved ground through the turn and finished evenly. HIT THE BULLSEYE lacked the speed to contest the early pace, settled inside mid-pack with the tracking group, finished willingly but was unable to gain ground on the top three. B D PRIMARY OURS settled mid-pack after the break, raced three-wide, and lacked a rally. COME ON COME ON got squeezed at the start and shuffled back to last, trailed througout. This race was originally hand-timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
