Footnotes
TARKINGTON GIRL broke well then settled just behind the trio contesting the pace, was traveling well through the turn then surged through an opening at the three-sixteenths pole and drew off under steady handling and intermittent urging. BEULAH K was mid-pack in the initial stages then started a forward move from the half-mile pole, went four wide through the turn to gain contention, kept on to gain the place while no threat to the winner. LULU'S MAGIC battled between horses for the early lead, put a head in front passing the five-sixteenths marker, could not go with the eventual winner from upper stretch and was passed late for the place. MID WEST FUN settled near the back after the start, advanced through the turn, steadied in upper stretch then tried to come back on but could not crack the top three. KATHLYNS PHALANX raced mid-pack along the rail and finished evenly. SAY AS I SAY steadied slightly shortly after the break, then was the trailer to the turn the rallied from the seven-sixteenths marker to improve while never a serious threat. ADIAMONDINTHESTORM raced three wide in the early pace scramble, dropped off the pace near the three-furlong marker and weakened in the stretch. WHEELS LIKE NALA was in a bit tight after the break, then settled near the rear of the field through the early stages and lacked a rally. ATTILA THE SPUN rushed up to join the leaders, contested the front end through the turn, then weakened in the stretch.
