Footnotes
DUE WE DARE was taken off the rail into the backstretch, stalked the pace, rallied into the turn, assumed command, drew clear and held well. FRIENDLY HINT stalked the pace, shifted out on the turn, bid three wide, went willingly to the wire, couldn't gain on the winner and finished second best. RANDY DAYTONA set the pace to the second turn, continued when headed, came up empty late and held safely for show. C F JIMMY RAY was slow early and improved position in a steady effort. SIR MACK raced mid pack, lacked a bid and failed to menace. CHIEF NOW NOW was not a factor. DIXIE'S ASTRO saved ground and failed to respond.
