SEEKING SAWYER was never far off the pace, raced outside, rallied around the turn, was carried out entering the stretch, closed willingly, got up late and held under pressure. CLAY'S BLACK OPAL was checked at the start, settled off the pace, swung wide leaving the turn, bid willingly to contend and was outfinished in game effort. PREMIUM got away well, set the pace with a clear lead while racing in hand, led to mid stretch and was unable to sustain his bid. PRINCE JAMES came in at the start, was steadied past the gap and failed to threaten in an even effort. EAGLE EXPRESS saved ground, showed brief speed only and was outrun.
