CLEARLY CREEPS away well, pressed SALOMEINTHEHOOP through the early stages, then bid for the lead on the far turn, had that rival fight back the dueled into the stretch, responded when set down with a furlong to go and powered away to a big win. SALOMEINTHEHOOP lunged at the start but still made the lead on the first turn, held sway to the far turn, dug in under a threat from CLEARLY CREEPS, battled to mid-stretch, was no match late but held clear for second. CHAPELLETE was not asked for speed and was held up near the back through the early stages, moved to within striking distance heading into the turn, then found the path blocked, backed off, then bid under urging into the stretch, altered course in mid-stretch, and gained the third spot. SISTER SAINT stalked the pace from the inside, finished up well, and held position through the stretch. C. C. HARBOR raced in the middle of the pack, was trying to rally in the stretch but was unable to find clear running until too late. GYPSAN raced mid-pack through the early running then was unable to mount a challenge in the later stages. GIRLS GOT GAME raced three wide near the rear and lacked a rally. DEROUTANTE stalked three wide to the far turn, bid under a drive from the five-sixteenths marker but emptied out early in the stretch. KEEP THE BLING got squeezed after the break then bobbled and was slow into stride, trailed to the far turn, tried to mount a four-wide rally into the stretch but was unable to improve.
