BIG SCULLY quickly drew off to set the pace with a clear lead and widened in the drive under mild urging. SMARTY ALEX was void of early speed, advanced along the rail on the turn, closed willingly and got up for place. MR. TIN MAN settled off the pace, lacked a stretch rally and held for show. MUFFIN NUTS raced mid pack, saved ground, bid along the rail on the turn and came up empty. DEER CROSSING was never far back, had little left for the drive and faded through the stretch. MOKINGS broke out, raced in the back and passed a tiring rival. BAYOU JAM was never far back, raced outside, was through after a half and stopped.
