DECCAN PRINCE (IRE) set the pace with a clear lead, swung wide entering the stretch, bore out in the drive, impeded BATTLE SCARS in deep stretch and drew away. BATTLE SCARS stalked the pace, rallied on the turn, was carried out entering the stretch, bid willingly to contend, was impeded and checked late and yielded. SUMMER LOVER lagged early, rallied around the turn and closed well to earn show while no threat to the top two. FOXTROT HARRY raced mid pack along the inside, angled out for the drive, finished well and didn't have enough left. ZONG TOUGH raced mid pack in a steady effort, lacked a rally and failed to menace. HEZA PICKLE brushed at the start, was void of early speed and offered a mild bid only to improve position. EASY BIG BOY raced inside, was in close early, was through after a half and faded. BLUE BOON raced close to the pace towards the outside, dropped in entering the second turn and had nothing left for the drive. MR. TIN MAN was never far back, had nothing left for the drive and lacked a bid. THICK HAZE brushed at the start and was outrun in an even effort. IMA BIG BOPPER was hard to load and was outrun. RIPITTOTHERIGHT stalked the pace to the second turn, tired and gave way. Following a stewards' inquiry and a rider's objection, DECCAN PRINCE was disqualified and placed second for causing interference in deep stretch.
