Footnotes
KAH NIGH took back early on, saved ground to far turn, angled out to upper stretch, rallied to take command into the final sixteenth and drew away late. GIBSON set a prompted pace along the backstretch, met bid of PICCOLO UOMO far turn, dueled that rival to mid-stretch, yielded to the winner in the final sixteenth and held second. GRAND ENCORE well placed inside, tracked the pace to far turn, got caught in tight mid-stretch, found room late but was outkicked in the final sixteenth. REGATTA BAY attended to the pace between foes into the backstretch, lost position into the far turn, stayed on into the drive then was caught in traffic mid-stretch, was outkicked late and just missed third. DEE'S LEGS shuffled first turn, recovered and settled while never far back along the backstretch, chased five wide to upper stretch, gained ground into the lane then flattened in the late stages. PICCOLO UOMO floated four wide along the first turn, went up and stalked the pace three wide along the backstretch, made a quick move into the far turn to vie for the lead, dueled GIBSON to mid-stretch, could not hold off rivals into the final sixteenth and gave way in deep stretch.
