Footnotes
CARROLL GIRL , three wide in hand the first turn, stalked the pace, advanced outside OUT OF LUCK, secured command mid way on the far turn, drifted out in upper stretch and pulled away with something in reserve. LOOKING FOR WATER lacked speed, circled the first turn three wide, circled the far turn four wide and passed tired rivals. LA TACHE , well back after hesitating at the break, moved up inside horses leaving the far turn, eased out in upper stretch and tired late. LISA'S PALACE , four deep the first turn, chased the pace down the backstretch, raced in the three path the far turn and gave way. OUT OF LUCK went clear mid way down the backstretch, saved ground the far turn, gave way and drifted out near the sixteenth pole. SWEET TALIA , a forward factor along the inner rail to the far turn, retreated through the stretch. MOSLER'S IMAGE stayed along the inner rail the first turn, raced in the two path between horses the far turn and faltered.
