Footnotes
EDGE OF TOWN edged up between foes early then gained a stalking spot off the dueling leaders, was given his cue mid turn and rolled up three to four wide to engage RED HEAD ITALIAN from her outside, forged to command inside the three sixteenths then eagerly drew away under a drive. RED HEAD ITALIAN broke inward bumping a foe and causing a jam up to inner rivals, corrected and was sent up to join SWEET HONEY BEE from her inside, dueled on a slim lead into and around the turn, dug in when confronted entering the stretch, fought on past mid stretch while on her left lead, faded late but was well clear of the rest. QUIT QUAY was hustled along saving ground, dropped back some leaving the far turn, angled out four wide gathering momentum into the stretch, worked between foes then kept on willingly to the wire. JOYFUL KITTEN stumbled at the break to be away slowly, steadied soon after, was under a ride while well back and saving ground, continued inside into the stretch and kept on with effort. BOND'S BELLE moved up between runners early then chased in the clear mid turn, circled five wide into the stretch but came up empty. STORMY MIDNIGHT , bumped and in tight at the break, raced off the pace and four wide mid turn, steadied leaving the quarter pole, angled out but failed to make an impact. SOUTH PACIFIC , bumped then pinched back at the break, raced well back into the turn while off the inside, circled six to seven wide into the stretch but failed to menace. PULL NO PUNCHES , off the pace, raced inside in the drive and was not a factor. SWEET HONEY BEE had speed and dueled two wide outside RED HEAD ITALIAN, failed to keep pace past the quarter pole and gave way. ASKNOTWHATYOUCANDO , four wide, faded. CHAMPAGNE DANCE , three to four wide pursuing the early pace, dropped back mid turn and was eased late.
