MR. MENDELSLEW edged up early and attended the pace, bid three deep then took over leaving the half, spurted clear mid turn, responded when set down in upper stretch and powered away under a drive. VENETO , lunged at the break, recovered and was sent up between foes, took closer order between runners into the turn, chased around the turn, kept on with effort when emerging as the closest pursuer past mid stretch and dug down late to save the place. AMAZING BERNIE , off the pace and three wide mid turn, angled out for the drive and churned on between foes. WRAP AND SEND steadied at the break and was away last, regrouped and settled well wide, advanced five wide into the stretch, chased past mid stretch then flattened out. BIRRAVINO BLVD had speed and pressed between foes into the turn, shifted in mid turn, stayed inside for the drive and gave way grudgingly. AIKMANS AUDIBLE prompted the early pace while saving ground, drafted far back leaving the far turn, swung out very wide then came back on with some effort through the final furlong. MYLUCKEYVALENTINE failed to menace. GENERAL MAXIMUS , in tight at the break, lost ground five deep past the five eighths, gained four wide with a run past the three eighths, chased to mid stretch then faded. TETCHED , four wide between foes, weakened. CITY PANDA broke slow, circled extremely wide into the lane and failed to generate a solid run. MORAL DISTORTION gave early chase three wide between foes then dropped back mid turn. MAMBA MINDSET advanced inside rivals leaving the chute and took a slim early lead, set a pressured pace into the turn, ceded command leaving the half mile pole and faltered.
