Footnotes
NEW BOOTS broke well to make the early lead, controlled the pace in the two path under confident handling, was set down in upper stretch and drew out under urging. MARMARA stalked the pace well off the inner rail, left the turn four wide and rallied. SWEETHEART MOON hopped at the break, raced in the two path on the turn and rallied between horses. THOROLD MISS lacked speed, raced in the three path on the turn and rallied between rivals. GALA DANCER accelerated early, hugged the inner rail, chased the winner to mid stretch then faded. GOOD MORNING MERCY , no factor, stayed along the inner rail on the turn. NOT THE FIRST TIME stalked the pace, drifted out entering the stretch, faltered and was eased late. CAYUGA was outrun.
