BUDS ISLAND saved ground around the first turn, eased off the rail entering the backstretch, stalked the pace outside MOONLIT FROST, overtook that one midway on the far turn, drew clear and was under urging in mid stretch. TUFF LUCK , four deep the first turn, remained outside horses down the backstretch, circled the far turn three wide, chased the winner through the stretch and was better than the rest. ALIGN , well placed along the inner rail down the backstretch and on the far turn, drifted out in upper stretch, remained on his left lead and gave way. MONOCHROME trailed to the far turn, moved to the inner rail in upper stretch and passed tired horses. WORLD ON FIRE , four wide leaving the far turn, failed to sustain his modest move. FLATBED FORD , caught in close quarters leaving the starting gate, advanced in the four path on the far turn and gave way in upper stretch. LUCKY TWO DAY remained along the inner rail and dropped back on the far turn. MOONLIT FROST , three wide entering the first turn, was taken to the inner rail after sprinting clear entering the backstretch, stayed along the rail, lost the lead on the far turn then faltered.
