Footnotes
SUGA STEVE , away in good order, attended the pace three wide, moved up and bid three deep under some rating leaving the far turn, asserted himself and took over when set down soon into the stretch, cleared under left handed asks in mid stretch then steadily widened while kept to a solid drive. PRADO ROAD accelerated to an early lead inside foes, dueled inside a pair of rivals from the three eighths to the quarter pole, could not quite match strides with the winner leaving the three sixteenths, dug in gamely through the final furlong and preserved the place in a sharp try. SWIFTY DEVIL , away awkwardly and to the inside, corrected and edged up four wide nearing the half, was under a hustling ride in the clear chasing the embattled leaders past the five sixteenths, shifted out and kept on with effort. PALM ISLAND , bumped at the break, corrected and edged up between foes, prompted the pace outside the leader into the turn, sparred between runners around the turn then faded a bit in the final three sixteenths. DIVINE CHILD , bumped a the break, lagged back off the pace while saving ground, angled out for the drive, worked back inward in the final furlong and churned on. DISPUTED CLAIM broke sharply then rated back off the leaders, shifted in for the run on the turn, chased and weakened.
