DI'S SURPRISE broke inward, corrected and showed speed to lead leaving the chute, ceded to an inner foe heading to the five eighths, prompted three wide and outside the leader leaving the three eighths, stayed on while three deep past the quarter pole, came back on to poke a head in front in mid stretch, kept on under a drive then had enough left to deny an outer STOP THE CAP. STOP THE CAP , brushed and forced in a bit by the winner at the break, straightened and edged up heading to the half, waited between foes nearing the quarter pole, worked outward to be about four wide in upper stretch, closed in steadily on her left lead and just could not get up. ANGEL ART dropped inside nearing the quarter pole, took closer order in hand past mid turn, waited approaching the stretch, found room along the rail and edged up to bid inside the dueling leaders past mid stretch, continued on with effort in deep stretch then flattened out very late. DISCREET OPS , in close at the break, recovered and was guided inside leaving the chute, moved up nearing the half, slipped through to challenge inside foes mid turn, took over then drifted out a bit into the stretch, dug in when confronted past the the three sixteenths, battled on past mid stretch then faded late. PEPPERMINT CLASS lost ground four to five wide, ranged up outside rivals mid turn, chased five wide into the stretch but failed to generate a serious late response. WESTERN LANE lagged back off the pace while saving ground, continued inside leaving mid stretch, shifted out late and finished with some interest. DREAM CHASER bore out at the break, raced four wide in mid pack early on, failed to kick on leaving the far turn and faded. DISSOLUTE , under firm rating four wide attending the pace, moved to apply more pressure leaving the far turn, was under pressure trying to keep pace nearing the lane, lacked a further punch and weakened. TALK TO THE JUDGE bobbled at the break, recovered and advanced in hand inside foes to take over heading to the five eighths, set the pace two wide, was hounded by outer foes three furlongs out, was joined from both sides soon after and faltered.
