CROSSLAND rated forwardly while saving ground into the turn, angled out and ranged up five wide outside rivals approaching the stretch, bid to engage the leader soon after, spurted clear under strong handling in mid stretch, kept on determinedly from there and denied LITTLE LANCE. LITTLE LANCE , in range three to four wide, moved up between horses into the stretch, angled out leaving the three sixteenths after the outer winner took over and edged away, found more to make a game grinding run through the final furlong and steadily gained. JASIEL steadied at the start, lagged well back early, commenced a wide run leaving the far turn, was fanned seven wide into the stretch, straightened and ranged up under a hearty ride in mid stretch, kept on willingly under steady hand encouragement the final seventy yards and gained. DERBYNESS , three then two wide attending the pace outside RUNNING RIVER, took over around the turn, spurted clear into the lane, failed to resist outer pressure leaving the three sixteenths and wilted through the final furlong. MR JEFFERSON rated off the early pace, quickly gained while saving ground mid turn, angled out six wide continuing progress into the stretch, straightened to chase to mid stretch, failed to sustain and faded late. IN THE DANCE , well back while saving ground and coaxed along, saved ground into the stretch, angled out near the three sixteenths but lacked a solid run. OMAR COMIN gained inside nearing the turn then rated close, eased out to work between horses approaching the stretch, angled back in leaving the quarter pole, lacked a kick in mid stretch and weakened. MUST BE LOVE , three wide chasing, dropped back mid turn. SYNONYM , off the rail and not with the early pace, failed to go on under a ride mid turn and tired. RUNNING RIVER advanced inside foes leaving the chute to take command, took outer pressure into the turn, failed to keep up into the lane and faltered.
