SUPER NEEDY saved ground on the turn, found ample room along the inner rail through the stretch, took the lead near the sixteenth pole and drove clear. MAXIMUS SPEED showed speed along the inner rail, dueled with BOX OF ROCKETS, drifted out in upper stretch and weakened late. THE HEIGHTS , four deep leaving the turn, brushed with PUTTHEPASTBEHIND in upper stretch, bumped with that one near the sixteenth pole and lacked the necessary late response. PUTTHEPASTBEHIND chased the pace, left the turn in the three path, brushed and bumped with THE HEIGHTS and failed to sustain his move. BOX OF ROCKETS , under urging soon after the start, dueled outside MAXIMUS SPEED and tired.
