Footnotes
THE WOLFMAN broke in the air but he and his rider recovered nicely and edged up to track a contested early pace, sat patiently around the turn, went on the attack and bid between foes heading to the quarter pole, drifted out a touch then was quickly corrected soon into the stretch, spurted clear after given a left handed ask, kept on with good energy to hold firm then was kept busy past the wire. PUDGE BOY PALACE vied outside a rival before clearing past the three eighths, dug in when confronted by outer foes near the quarter pole, could not quite quicken with the winner past the three sixteenths but stayed on with good energy to be clear of the rest. KING'S RIVER bobbled slightly at the break then steadied briefly, was sent up three wide between foes near the half, chased off the rail into the lane and finished with interest to gain the show inside a foe. LIEUTENANT BROWN stalked towards the inside early on, eased out mid turn, rolled up and bid four wide outside runners near the quarter pole, was fanned out a bit entering the lane, straightened to chase, failed to kick on leaving mid stretch and faded. GROUP HUG , four to five wide most of the way, came up empty. VESELSKY lagged off the pace, angled four wide for the drive but failed to make an impact. MONSTER MASON , urged along while saving ground, failed to respond. SUMMERSTATEOFMIND vied inside a rival to the three eighths, chased on to the head of the lane then tired.
