Footnotes
LONG ASTRIDE prompted the pace while saving ground around the first turn and into the backstretch, was rated back off the leader and deftly angled outward to stalk, edged up three wide to apply more pressure leaving the far turn, pressed under a ride past the five sixteenths, was fanned five wide dueling into the lane, wrested command nearing the eighth pole then steadily drew out under a drive. BEE A SKY BEAM cleared two wide and set a rated pace, staved off outer pressure around the final turn, was guided to the four path battling into the stretch, ceded command a furlong out and faded. BLIND EYE , in a bit close at the break, was used four wide advancing to contention after a half mile, was under a hustling ride pursuing the embattled leaders approaching the stretch, faded but remained clear of the rest. CUNDI , inside and well off the early pace, moved up to the inside of a tiring rival near the three eighths, eased out then back in but came up empty. TRIP SWITCH , three wide, dropped back exiting the far turn. LONGWORTH saved ground, edged up a bit and was in range past the five eighths, failed to go on under a ride leaving the three eighths pole and retreated.
